About the Parklands Residents Association
PARKLANDS RESIDENTS FORUM is a residents’ welfare association seeking to be registered under the Kenyan Societies Act (Cap. 108) in due course with an aim in giving hope to the residents and aspire to deliver trust to gain public confidence in all that we do.
The objectives/Manifesto of the Association are as follows:
1. To represent, protect and assist members of the Association in respect of relations,
dealings, communication and/or engagement in any way with respective
stakeholders;
2. To preserve, improve and maintain public green spaces as a key pillar in our
environmental protection delivering a wider enjoyment to all.
3. Encourage and foster unity co-operations and mutual understanding among
members of the Association;
4. Deliver core services such as Solid waste management, urban planning, permits &
licensing more efficiently and reliably.
5. To engage county governments in service delivery by signing service charters and
identifying priority areas of concern
6. Prudent & sensible financial management of Nairobi county budgets in the face of
shrinking government spending and allocations.
7. Inward investment in projects that will improve our local surroundings and social
amenities.
It should be noted that the Association is non-political, non-religious and non-profit making.
